I'm so proud to say that Homecoming week was a HUGE SUCCESS!! There was a lot of positive comments about it went around the school, even among the staffs. I couldn't stop beaming during the whole week!
During the week, we had spirit week - not a lot of people dressed up, which kinda sucked. On Thursday, I hosted the very first dance, Homecoming dance, a lot of people came and really enjoyed themselves. We had voting for Homecoming King/Queen/Prince/Princess and I'm the Homecoming Queen! On the last day of Homecoming week, we had students VS staff floor hockey, it was a huge success 'cause everyone got so competitive and enjoyed themselves. Sadly, the staffs won haha. Later in the afternoon, we had pep rally. The best part of it was when the elementary kids walked in the gym with homemade pom-poms. That almost made me cry 'cause I was trying really hard to get bison pride in them. I announced the winners for spirit week, homecoming king/queen/prince/princess and gave special thanks to the student council for making the week happen. We played three arms volleyball after my little pep announcements and then played tag until dismissal.
I feel so relieved that it's all over and the same time, I'm really proud of my little accomplishments. I still cannot believe it's not even a month yet, and I've done so much for the school already! More to come! =)
